چکیده

The Nandongzi landslide occurred in the Yanshan region of North China. From 2017, slope has been significantly deformed after several excavations. Field investigations show that is a special toppling deposit does not have basic conditions. deformation mechanism become difficult issue for engineers, attracting attention scientists. Joint, surface, and borehole lithology surveys revealed surface internal structural characteristics slope. structure soft hard interbedded rock proximity fault are dominant factors deformation. failure process can be divided into four stages: initial deformation, compression bending, overlapping, reactivation. In first three stages, triggered by downcutting upstream gully, gravity, differential weathering rocks, which promote dumping final stage, engineering excavations reactivation residual deposits. Monitoring data indicate directly related to rainfall events. Flac 3D was used simulate under natural conditions two results multiple changed runoff slope, led failure. Rainfall promoted back edge landslide, shear from front edge. Our provide new unique understanding spatiotemporal evolution similar toppling-accumulation landslides around study area.

A Novel Indicator to Predict the Onset of Instability of a Gravitational Flow on a Slope

In order to present a quantitative indicator for the onset of instability, in this paper, the critical points of a stratified gravitational flow on a slope are found and analyzed. These points are obtained by means of the solution of the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations via the standard Arakawa-C finite-difference method. Results show that in the marginal Richardson numbers, the critical...

On the Lathrobium fauna of the Donggong Mountains, eastern China.

Material of the paederine genus Lathrobium Gravenhorst, 1802 from the Donggong Mountains, eastern China, is examined. Fifteen species are identified, seven of them described previously and eight undescribed. Seven species are described and illustrated for the first time, all of them micropterous and locally endemic: L. haoae Peng & Li sp. n., L. songi Peng & Li sp. n., L. yui Peng & Li sp. n., ...

Landscape’s Change Detection in the Southern Slope of the Qinling Mountains, China

The landscape on the southern slope of the Qinling Mountains, the home of many wildlife species including the giant pandas, golden takin and golden monkey, has been logged and influenced for a long term. This caused the obvious decreasing of the wildlife’s habitat and has produced strong impacts on their survival and distribution. It is necessary for managers to have a quick and accurate method...

A new species of Rana from the Dabie Mountains in eastern China (Anura, Ranidae)

A new species Rana dabieshanensissp. n. is described from the Dabie Mountains in Anhui Province, China, based on morphological character differences and molecular analyses. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by a combination of diagnostic characters. The results of phylogenetic analyses (based on 12s rRNA, 16s rRNA, ND2, Cyt b, RAG1, BDNF and Tyr) and genetic distances (bas...

Analysis of fold and fault-related fracture systems development using image logs at Asmari Formation in the Rag Sefid Anticline, SW Iran

Image logs of 13 wells in the Rag Sefid Anticline show two systems of fractures developed under two deformation phase in the Dezful Embayment. This deformation phases are folding resulted from Zagros NE contraction and reactivation of the basement fault rotated the fold axial trace within the Hendijan-Izeh fault zone. Folding phase comprises four sets of fractures, which include axial and cross...
